Hearing Aids

Is it Time for Hearing Aids?

Purchasing hearing aids is an important decision that has the potential to significantly improve your quality of life. The Nevada Ear and Sinus Institute firmly believes that all persons making the decision to wear hearing aids should be fully informed as to what their options are and which model is best suited for their specific type of hearing loss.

For that reason all persons interested in hearing devices at the Nevada Ear and Sinus Institute will be fully evaluated and educated, not only by a doctor of audiology, but also by a medical doctor and surgeon who is board certified in complex disorders of the ear and hearing loss. A complete explanation of the cause and type of hearing loss, as well as a fitting with the most appropriate and cost effective hearing aid, will be performed.

Hearing aid evaluations are always free of charge at the Nevada Ear and Sinus Institute.

No two people have exactly the same type of hearing loss. Small, comfortable and powerful, our devices are sophisticated pieces of digital technology tuned to suit your unique hearing needs.

At the Nevada Ear and Sinus Institute, we offer three different categories of hearing aids:

Remote Microphone hearing aids

This is a new category of hearing aids developed by ReSound that combines the advantages of the behind-the-ear and custom (in-the-ear) models. The microphone has been moved to the outer ear and is connected to the main body of the hearing aid by a thin transparent tube. The result is virtually invisible devices that offer open-fitting comfort and maximum wind noise suppression.
